Wikipedia - MEVZA League
The Middle European League or MEVZA League is a regional volleyball league, established in 2005 and contested by the club teams from the Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association (MEVZA). In the men's edition, the most successful team is ACH Volley with fourteen titles. Among women, OTP Banka Branik and Calcit Volley are the most successful with four titles each.
The competition is a continuation of the Interleague, which was played in the 1990s before merging into the newly established MEVZA League in 2005.
The MEVZA League is a premier volleyball competition featuring top club teams from Central and Eastern Europe. Organized by the Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association (MEVZA), the league showcases high-level men's and women's volleyball, fostering regional rivalry and excellence. Teams compete in a series of intense matches throughout the season, culminating in playoffs and finals to crown the best club in the region. The MEVZA League is renowned for its competitive spirit, talented players, and contribution to the development of volleyball in Central and Eastern Europe.
